Ebola in Northeastern Democratic Republic of the Congo

In order to combat Ebola in the Northeastern Democratic Republic of Congo, we have created an engineering-based solution: the EWASH140. This is a solar powered washing machine that sanitizes clothing. The portable washing machine heats up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit in order to denature the proteins of Ebola and rid the clothes of their trace. This aims to diminish the transmission of Ebola from patient to patient, medical personnel, family, and others.
