Claire Gugerty

Hi! I’m Claire Gugerty a current out-of-state freshman in the undergraduate program at George Mason University. My major is currently undeclared but I have an interest in Environmental Sustainability and Conservation. I was initially interested in global health because I wanted to expand my knowledge about health risks and crises around the globe; I have since found interest in the applicability of health solutions regarding the effects and tools of the environment.

 

Zena Al Mashhadani

Hello! My name is Zena Al Mashhadani and my major is Biology Pre-Medicine. My goal is to get my graduate Medical Doctor degree after graduating from George Mason University in May 2021. As a future doctor, it is extremely crucial to be educated about the major issues going on globally which is the main reason I chose to take Global Health. Also, being informed about different diseases and transmission methods is very important to spread awareness and prevention.

Tabitha Sider

Hey! I’m Tabitha Sider, a freshman undergraduate at George Mason University. My major is Community Health with a concentration in clinical science. I am taking Global Health to gain knowledge that I might use as a future medical professional.

 

Paul Saliba

Hello! My name is Paul Saliba and I am a freshman at George Mason. I am majoring in Community health and concentrating in clinical sciences. I chose to take global health to get a better understanding of the problems around the world. I also wanted to learn about prevention methods to avoid these problems in the future. This is important to me because I would like to have a career in medicine.

 

Avery Prescott

Hi! My name is Avery Prescott. I was born in a small town in Vermont. I am a freshman at George Mason University. I am currently undecided with an interest in psychology. I’m taking global health to learn more about the current health issues affecting me and the people around me. With the knowledge  I retain in this class I will be able to learn how to take precautions when it comes to my health and the health of others. This class will also teach me skills to problem solve almost impossible situations.
